Salinity started as a way for owner/SeaEO Emily (Dunn-)Wilder to teach people about the PNW native oyster species, the tiny Olympia oyster, through distributing fresh oysters from the two farms closest to Whidbey, the Swinomish Tribe’s farm in Similk Bay (by Fidalgo) and Skagit Shellfish Farms in Skagit Bay (by Camano). It quickly grew to include over a hundred amazing PNW goods you might want to buy with or instead of oysters!
